Escape to and explore a stunning garden with a panorama of magnificent waterfalls, lakes and colourful plantings layered over three hectares and perched high on the escarpment. Idyllic rainforest surroundings and the spectacular Glasshouse Mountain views create a truly unique garden. Take in the views and let the sights and sounds of running water enchant you while treating yourself to delicious Devonshire Tea in one of the delightful gazebos overlooking the gardens. Enjoy a cuddle with our miniature farm animals petting zoo as part of your garden experience! Meet Alfie, the miniature micro donkey. We also have babydoll sheep, miniature goats, miniature pigs, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs.

Experience and share the story of one man's vision of creating this magical garden and see it come to life! The property overlooks a backdrop of the iconic Glass House Mountains, the 18 acres of gardens are surrounded by stunning waterfalls & lakes which only add to the majestic nature of this unique attraction that sits high on the escarpment. You can even rent golf carts to get around the gardens in style!,

Session Length

This experience is available seven days a week from 9am - 4:30pm (with the exception of Christmas day)
This experience can take anywhere from one hour to all day, depending on how much time you would like to spend in the gardens
The booking will show 12:00AM. This means it's an all day event. You do not have to arrive at a specific time during our opening hours.

Garden buggy hire available for those who don't want to walk or have mobility challenges
Accommodates all age groups

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Dress Code

Recommended that you wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and a rain coat or umbrella in case the weather changes during your visit.

Other Info

The gardens offer a self-explore experience via approximately 6 kms of easy walking paths on 18 acres of garden. The gardens offer firm graveled and grassed paths and are suitable for vision impaired with guide.

Maleny Gardens and Bird World is amazing

We were given a Red Balloon Voucher for Christmas to visit Maleny Botanical and Bird World We waited until spring arrived and we were not disappointed - a truly beautiful place and well worth going to. Flowers are beginning to bloom for Spring and it is a very beautiful sight. The animal farm was delightful. Devonshire Tea that was a part of the deal was so yummy

The Maleny Botanical Gardens experience was absolutely fantastic. The Devonshire Tea was amazing and the scones were so light and fluffy. We sat in a rotunda looking out at the view and it was spectacular.

Though the website states easy accessibility for me this was not the case. The steepness of the terrain made it impossible for me to do a tour around the gardens or animal farm even getting into the gazebo for the devonshire tea was difficult

Disappointed as I thought the aviary tour was included in this price. There is no equivalent when you Go to the venue they just have a airy and tour and entry together

I had such a great time with the animals, patting the beautiful bunnies minding not to step on zooming Guinea pigs running out of the hay. All the animals were most enthusiastic about being fed , trying to get in first. The goats were so funny when I sat down to sort out my food . This was followed by a delicious Devonshire tea with melt in your mouth scones. Wonderful gift from my daughter.
