Cruise into the magical Cataract Gorge and through Launcestons riverfront precinct. Head north past Tamar Island, historical buildings, churches and significant homesteads. Sample the rich diversity of life as you cruise past quaint riverfront communities, vineyards and farms, to the Batman bridge.

The Tamar valley is steeped with romance and studded tales of bushrangers, explorers and gold diggers. Australia’s longest navigable eustaurine river, it has many natural coves and protected inlets that provide a sanctuary for thousand of native water birds that can only be seen on the river.

Amazing knowledge

The most knowledgeable skipper and had a wicked sense of humour. Leah was so beautiful, she kept everything running smoothly all day, feeding us and making sure we didn’t get thirsty 🍷

Overall, it was very good. Great communication, people having the knowledge of the area, warmth inside the boat, comfort was great. Smoothly sailing. Food was tasty and plenty. Variety of drinks was good. Very good experience

The Lunch Cruise at Batman Bridge was wonderful. The cabin crew were friendly and attentive whilst the captain provide informative and at times quite funny commentary throughout the journey. Morning tea, lunch, wine and beer tasting and cheese/fruit platter were amazing. I would recommend this experience to traveler's coming to and from Tasmania.

What a fantastic day! We are locals and completely enjoyed the day, the 4 hours wen't really quick. Lunch was delicious and there was more than enough for everyone. My step son is a bit if a fussy eater so they found some muffins and biscuits for him along with a glass of orange juice. He even got to drive the boat and received a certificate!! Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and i would highly recommend.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable four hour cruise with outstanding knowledgeable commentary by Callum and we had two ladies plying us with an excellent lunch wine tasting and morning tea . We would recommend this trip to anyone.
