If your little one is determined to master skateboarding, then this skate lesson is the best way for them to get started! Your little dude or dudette will be fully supervised and kitted up in safety gear as they learn the basics of skateboarding. Experienced and friendly instructors.

What's included?

1 hour skateboarding lesson
All equipment including skateboard, helmet and knee pads
Friendly, experienced skate instructors

For kids who want to learn the basics of skateboarding, this lesson is perfect! With skateboards and all protective gear provided plus expert instruction from experienced skate coaches, your little one will stay safe even when trying their new, radical skills out on the obstacle course. Whether they've never been on a board or they've just started out, this lesson is catered to their ability and allows them to learn at their own pace in a private lesson.

The lesson duration is 50 minutes
It is available Monday to Sunday including some Public Holidays

Restrictions

Each participant's guardian or parent must sign a registration form.

Guidelines

Participants must listen to their instructors as they are there to keep everyone safe.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

This price is for one participant. However you may add additional riders to this private lesson (additional costs will apply)

Spectators are welcome

Weather

In the case of possible wet weather, Skate Now management will make a decision on the day if the lesson is able to go ahead

Dress Code

Flat soled sports shoe and comfortable clothing are required. It is recommended for you to wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle to the lesson.

Location

This experience can occur at several locations in the Sydney metro area including Redfern oval skate space, Sydney Park skatepark, Cammeray skate plaza and Gladesville skatepark. You can choose one of their four locations depending on which is more convenient for you.

Danny at Skate Now did a great job in teaching a 5 & 7 year old the basics of skateboarding with a few tricks to practice & impress their friends.

I searched online for a skateboard lesson for my younger sister that was affordable and wasn't too far away, and this service caught my eye. After talking with the family who run the program, my sister was confident in riding a skateboard for the first time. Amazing one-on-one experience for her, especially since she has difficulty in concerntrating and taking instructions. The instructor was kind, helpful in guiding her through each step and patient. I would really recommend this service to anyone who has a younger child/sibling/friend who has never stood on a skateboard before and who wants to leave the lesson feeling accomplished and more confident in riding. Thank you to Skate Now for an amazing experience.
