Hot Air Ballooning over the Atherton Tablelands

• Please allow approximately five hours for this experience
• The hot air balloon flight is 40-60 minutes in duration, depending on the winds
• Pick up times vary in summer and winter. Ballooning takes place in the early hours of the morning and exact pick up time will be confirmed at the time of reservation. Return drop off is approximately 9.30am

Pregnant women and those who participated in diving the previous day are not suited to this activity.

• Children must be three years or above to fly. Children 3 - 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult
• You must be able to climb up the 1.2 meter foothold ladder into the hot air balloon basket without assistance
• Anyone who has a medical condition that may preclude them from flying must advise at the time of booking
• You must be able to stand for the duration of the flight

• Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

The price quoted is for one person. There will be a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 20 passengers in the basket with you during your flight.

In the rare event of poor weather, your experience will be rescheduled for a later date.

Comfortable walking shoes and clothes recommended, non white due to rainforest/bush landing environment. Hat and sunglasses are a must. If your flight time is from April - October, warm clothes are recommended, in other months there will be warm airflow due to the burning of hot air balloons, so you do not need to wear warm clothes.

This experience takes place over the Atherton Tablelands, departing Cairns QLD.
