It was nice to fly over the parliamentary triangle and on to Weston and see the views around us. Unfortunately our balloon ride was much too short timewise, lasting only 35 minutes in the air. The other balloon that lifted off with us just kept going and they would have seen so much more, enhancing their experience. We got to assist with the Setup and pack up all of which just made the whole Experience a lot of fun. we met new people and shared a champers with them at the end. Even heard the story about why champagne is associated with ballooning, and how French farmers would believe balloons to be bad spirits from the sky. Kim did a pin point perfect landing in a very small spot and didn’t damage any tree even though we were surrounded by them. The landing was light and well executed. Good job Kim!

We found it to be a most amazing experience. We were both highly impressed with the professionalism of Kim, our pilot. His safety talks were clear and relevant. During the flight he pointed out features of interest and was only too willing to answer any questions regarding ballooning. The opportunity to assist in the pre-flight and post-flight preparations of the balloon were also fun and very interesting. Many thanks also to the ground crew Eric and Brendan, who were vital members of the crew.
