Melbourne Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride with Photos

• Allow approximately 3.5 hours from check-in to the end of the flight experience.
• Flight duration is approximately one hour.
• Meet approximately 90 minutes before sunrise.
• Exact flight times vary with sunrise and are confirmed by the pilot the night before via the ‘Global Ballooning Safe Travels mobile app’.

• Hot air ballooning is an outdoor adventure activity requiring a minimum level of fitness and wellbeing.
• Must be able to stand unassisted for one hour.
• Must notify the experience provider before the flight of any significant knee, hip, back or neck problems; surgery or broken bones within the past six months; severe osteoporosis; or current medical supervision relating to surgery or injury.
• Must be able to follow the pilot’s instructions, including adopting a semi-seated landing position with knees bent, holding the basket handholds.
• Must notify the experience provider before the flight if pregnant. Women in their 3rd trimester will be unable to fly.
• Must be able to enter the basket using the side foot holes and step ladder. The basket is approximately 1.1 metres high.
• Flights may be cancelled at the pilot’s discretion due to inclement weather. Flight status is confirmed the night before.
• Next-day bookings must be made before 5pm. Requests received after this time may not be confirmed.
• A booking confirmation email is sent once the booking is confirmed. Please follow up with Global Ballooning if this has not been received.
• Discounted parking is available underneath the meeting point hotel until 11am each morning
• You must download the ‘Global Ballooning Safe Travels mobile app’ to receive your flight status update.

Once your voucher has been redeemed with Global Ballooning Australia, the following booking conditions apply: Your original voucher expiry date will no longer apply. From the date of redemption, you will have 12 months to book and complete your flight. Your booking becomes non-refundable and non-transferable, and your voucher will expire if your flight has not been completed within this 12-month period. More than 7 days before your flight: Changes to your flight date and booking details can be made free of charge. Between 7 days and 48 hours before your flight: Changes or cancellations incur a $50 per person fee. Within 48 hours of your flight: Changes and rescheduling are not permitted. Cancellations and no-shows on the morning of your scheduled flight cannot be rescheduled. We recommend arranging your own travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, including illness.

A minimum of six and a maximum of 12 passengers travel in the basket.

Flights are weather-dependent and may be cancelled at the pilot’s discretion if conditions are unsuitable for safe flying. Participants can download the Global Ballooning Safe Travels mobile app to receive all flight status updates.

Wear casual, comfortable clothing and flat, closed-toe shoes (avoid white). Bring a hat, camera, and spare socks.

Complimentary inflight photos are included, but passengers are encouraged to bring their own camera and phone to capture the beautiful morning. While we do our best to ensure your photos are available, occasional technical issues may mean some or all inflight photos cannot be provided
