Due to bad weather, we had to reschedule a few times and the way this company handled it was truly impressive. They were proactive, communicative, and incredibly accommodating, turning what could have been a disappointment into a seamless process. When we finally flew, everything was perfect - the ride was smooth, peaceful, and unforgettable. Such a breathtaking experience soaring over the city of Melbourne! From the early morning start to the smooth landing, everything was perfectly organized and run with professionalism. Watching the sun rise over the skyline and iconic landmarks like the MCG, Rod Laver Arena, St Patrick’s Cathedral and Carlton Gardens with the museum was simply magical. The pilot, John and ground crew Ando were friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel safe and relaxed. Floating silently over Melbourne as the city woke up beneath us was a truly surreal and unforgettable moment. To top it off, the photos and video they provided afterward were amazing and beautifully captured the entire experience. The quality was fantastic and allowed us to relive the experience all over again. This is a must-do experience for locals and visitors alike - an incredible way to see Melbourne from a whole new perspective. Highly recommended! ★★★★★ ★★★★★ Recommended An amazing morning above morning Jamie 5 March 2025 What an incredible experience. The staff at Picture This were absolutely unreal. We got the legends Viktor and Hendo. We got an interesting look at the process involved in picking a take off spot. We got a very last minute wind change which meant relocating to the opposite side of the city. Before takeoff I was able to help with the inflation of the balloon which was great fun. We took off from Royal Park and were able to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. We stayed mostly above the inner north before heading over Richmond to South Yarra. More than the pretty views, I enjoyed listening to the coordination between all the pilots. Viktor gave us an interesting insight into how tactical yet lucky you need to be with the weather to get to your landing spot, with us just missing Fawkner Park by 100 meters. After landing we all pitched in to pack up the balloon, this was also great fun. Let me know if you need any weekend workers 💪🏼 The post flight breakfast was yummy, but the best part was learning about flying from Hendo, Viktor and the other pilot Dom.
