Feel like you're spending at day at this races with this full day tour! You'll wind your way through some of Victoria's finest countryside, visit the Living Legends of racing at Woodlands Estate, savour lunch and a beer tasting in Woodend and enjoy a wine tasting at an award-winning winery.
Start your day with a generous morning tea featuring large home-made scone with cream and jam before exploring the Woodlands Homestead and Museum. Then head outside to take a guided tour of Living Legends, home to some favourite retired champion race horses such as Rogan Josh, Apache Cat, Brew, Paris Lane, Almandin, Fields of Omagh, Efficient and Who Shot The Barman (NZ). On the tour you will get to meet, pat and feed the horses and hopefully see some local kangaroos in the wild.
Next, you'll make your way to Holgate Brewhouse located within the historic Keatings Hotel in the beautiful town of Woodend for a delicious pub lunch and beer tasting. Your last stop of the day is Hanging Rock Winery, an award-winning winery with stunning views of Hanging Rock and the surrounding Macedon Ranges.
Participants must be 18 years or older to participate in this tour; photo ID may be required.
Minimum of six and a maximum of 50 participants.
Tour operates rain, hail or shine. Please bring rain-proof clothing and an umbrella/sunscreen if required.
Casual and comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended.
