Enjoy a relaxing evening horse ride in beautiful Margaret River and spot local flora and fauna along the way. This fully-guided tour will take you into the stunning Western Australian bushland and along the way you will spot Kangaroos and Emus. Take in the vistas and listen to the Kookaburra song as you ride back to the cottage just as the sun sets then enjoy a glass of home grown wine after your ride with accompanying hot bread, olive oil and dhukka.

Session Length

This experience is 1.5 hours long and is available at approximately 4pm over the winter months and 5pm in Summer. This experience is available every day bar Wednesdays and Thursdays.


The minimum age for this horse riding experience is 6 years. As it is an energetic outdoor activity we advise a basic level of fitness is required.

Numbers on the Day

Generally groups are not larger than 10 participants although frequently smaller. The normal ratio of instructors to participants is 1
instructor for every 4-5 riders (dependent on ages).


Spectators can view the ride departing and arriving back to the cottage area.


This experience operates in all weather conditions except severe storms. Rain jackets can be supplied as required.

Dress Code

Helmets and boots are provided as well as wet weather gear in Winter and fly veils in Summer. Guests are requested to wear long trousers for their own comfort.
