Not your average high tea. It is Gin & Tea. Settle into The Fox Hole in The Rocks for gin cocktail teapots, sweet bites and good company. Choose a signature gin cocktail teapot to share between two, alongside finger sandwiches, warm pastries, seasonal savoury bites and sweet treats. The menu changes with the season, with selections designed to be shared and savoured. Make an afternoon of it for a birthday, a date or a just-because catch-up. Gin & Tea is served on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:00pm and 2:45pm, subject to availability. Upgrade to bottomless gin cocktail teapots for an additional $30 per person.

Overpriced and simple

I was gifted a gin cocktails with high tea experience for Mother’s Day so I took my friend with me. I decided to upgrade the package for a further $50 for “bottomless gin cocktails” on top of the cost of the original package which was already $170. We had 3 gin cocktails in teapots to share and they were very watered down and didn’t taste like there was much alcohol in them. Although the food tasted good, it was very basic, with a few sandwiches, 2 scones, some crackers with smoked salmon, 2 chocolate desserts, 2 small sausage rolls and 2 macarons etc. I felt it wasn’t quite enough and not as premium as I had hoped for. It was a nice ambience though and good location.

I've always really liked Whisky and so get taken to whisky bars and whisky tastings. It's rare to get to the end of want to go out of my way to give a five star review, but these guys get it. Our host Thomas had the perfect balance of fun and informative while we tried the Japanese whiskies. Then after the tasting, we explored some other whisky regions. The Fox Hole is a find and I'll be back!

I bought this for my boyfriend for our one year anniversary. I'm not a huge whisky fan but he loves trying new whiskies. He'd tried one of the whiskies but all the others were new and we really enjoyed the story The Fox Hole told along the way. We've been back since to do their gin experience and I took my girlfriends to do their gin high tea. Loved this and will be back.

Japanese Whiskey testing - Fox Hole

Just felt like the cost and the experience didn’t match. There was so little whiskey in the glass that the first time I thought it was empty glass.

Such an incredible experience. The High Tea was delicious and catered to all requested dietary requirements. The Gin Teapots were also extremely tasty and the range of different options to chose from were great to see. The staff were professional and fun. Would highly recommend this experience.
