Escape Sydney for the day on a private helicopter flight to a Berry vineyard for two, with approximately 45 minutes of coastal flying each way. Lift away from Bankstown Aerodrome and track south over sandstone cliffs, the Royal National Park, the Sea Cliff Bridge and the long sweep of Seven Mile Beach, your pilot’s commentary coming through noise cancelling headsets and a window seat guaranteed.

Then the rotors wind down on a private helipad among the vines at Silos Estate, a working winery set in buildings from an 1870 dairy farm. Waiting for you is a picnic for two, with a bottle of estate wine to share alongside local cheeses, olives, cold meats, relishes, honeycomb and crackers, plus a souvenir blanket and two glasses to keep. Choose your own spot on the grounds, settle in and let the afternoon stretch out, with the cellar door and art gallery to wander before you fly home along the coast. It is a gift they will be talking about long after the rotors stop.
