From this lofty vantage point, you'll be treated to sweeping panoramas of the lush landscape and the bustling city below, setting the stage for an exhilarating experience. As you glide over the heart of Brisbane's CBD, the cityscape's towering skyscrapers and vibrant energy come into view from a unique birds-eye perspective.The journey continues as we make a graceful descent toward Sirromet Winery, nestled in the picturesque countryside. Upon arrival, the estate welcomes you with its scenic charm, surrounded by rolling vineyards and verdant landscapes. Indulge in a wine tasting adventure, savouring the rich flavours of Sirromet Winery or join a guided tour before returning to Brisbane. (additional cost).

Session Length

Please allow 2 hours 30 minutes for this experience
30 minute flight and 90 minutes to enjoy the winery
Available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
If you wish to enjoy extra time at the winery this can be arranged directly with the experience provider. $75 for an additional 60 minutes or part thereof.

Flights depart 7 days a week, pending daylight and Sirromet operating hours. Please note this experience is not operated by Archerfield Airport.

Flight durations are accurate within a couple of minutes and reflect the approximate time spent in the air. Please note that variations may occur due to air traffic or operational requirements.
Experience time includes your safety briefing, time for photos, aircraft start-up, and shut-down procedures. This means your total experience may be longer than just the airborne portion.

Restrictions

Flight is subject to pilot determined unflyable weather and landing approvals being given. Please note this experience is not operated by Archerfield Airport.

Guidelines

Due to aircraft limitations, individual passenger weight must not exceed 115kg. All flights are also subject to approval based on the aircraft's weight and balance configuration.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be in writing and addressed to V2 Helicopters. There are no cancellations available for flights that have been postponed or rebooked from a postponed flight. The following fees will be payable by the Client for Flights cancelled by the Client depending on notice given to V2 helicopters:

Less than 21 business working days prior to departure – 25% of full Price
Less than 14 business working days prior to departure – 50% of full Price
Less than 7 business working days prior to departure – 100% of full Price

Weather

Occasionally, Mother Nature doesn’t play nice. To keep our customers safe and comfortable, we may have to cancel some flights from time to time. While we strive to provide as much notice as possible, weather conditions can be unpredictable and are often only confirmed closer to the flight date.

Helicopter ride to Sirromet Winery

I booked this as a surprise 20th anniversary present for my husband. V2 helicopters were wonderful. Our pilot was so friendly and went out of her way to make our experience amazing. Sirromet was beautiful and staff were also fantastic. I highly recommend this experience.

What an awesome experience for a 50th birthday gift. The pilot was friendly and courteous and made the flight relaxing and enjoyable. The helicopter was comfortable and easy to fly in. Having the helicopter wait for us to have lunch was a real novelty and our family joining us to wish us "bon voyage" for the trip back was fantastic. The location for lunch was brilliant, excellent service and food. Overall a very enjoyable surprise.
