Our day was overcast so a bit cool - definitely take a warm jumper, it’s very windy up on deck and the air conditioning I’d on full blast in the 2 lower decks. The staff are amazing - friendly, helpful and engaging. Be prepared- this boat can carry over 300 people, so that’s a lot to feed, and get sorted, but their system works well and you have plenty of time to do all the activities at the reef.

★★★★★ ★★★★★ The whole experience was amazing Maddy 28 April 2021 It’s been a life long dream of mine to see the Great Barrier Reef and I’m so glad I took this tour to do that. While the journey out there is long, you’re not just sitting there doing nothing. But if you get bored easily, I suggest a book or downloading some Netflix. We go out to the reef and decided to pay extra to go scuba diving. This was well worth the money as well. You get a great amount of time out at the reef and they have activities for those who want to snorkel and for those that want to see the reef and stay dry. Honestly was just amazing and I would recommend it to anyone.
★★★★★ ★★★★★ Iconic and Surreal Experience Josh 18 April 2021 Approaching the pontoon in the open ocean is surreal, and the appearance of the reefs as the tide dropped was unforgettable. The boat, food, pontoon, staff and equipment were all top quality. The coral was quite similar to the inner reef around the islands, but there were definitely more fish, and larger fish, than at any of our island snorkelling trips. It was great to have done once, though on balance, considering the price, I will probably stick to inner-reef/island tours in the future. No regrets about doing it once though - a once in a lifetime, iconic experience.
