I recently visited Hastwell & Lightfoot Winery for the grazing platter and signature tasting experience, and it’s easy to see why our guests consistently rate this experience 5 stars. From the moment you arrive, everything feels well taken care of. Our host Bruce was both welcoming and knowledgeable and the setting itself was a relaxed space to settle in and enjoy the experience. The grazing platter is generous and well put together, with a good mix of quality local produce that pairs beautifully with the wines. The tasting is well paced and informative, with staff happy to tailor the experience depending on your interest level. What stood out most is how effortless and relaxed it all feels. There’s no rush and it delivers exactly what you’d hoped for - good wine, great food and a setting that makes you want to stay a little longer (including a crackling fireplace). It’s an experience I’d easily recommend and would absolutely consider as a gift. It suits a wide range of people and is a great option if you’re looking for something that feels a bit special without being overly formal.
