Race our NEW Sodi SR5 Race Karts on an international 1100m Le Mans Circuit with computerised timing and split second race results. It's real racing on a real race track and it doesn't get any better.

Feel the rush of real race karts whizzing along at speeds up to 85km! You'll have a driver briefing to pick up advice and tips, before jumping in and taking to the track for four thrilling sessions, at ten minutes each!

In the Interest of Safety for yourself and our Team, Gloves and Balaclavas have been introduced as mandatory equipment (at additional price). Please feel free to bring your own equipment or they can be purchased at our Pit Stop Cafe.

Important information

Session Length

There is tuition and a drivers briefing for 30 minutes
4 x 10 minute race sessions
Total experience is approximately 2 hours (may be longer in busy periods)
Available 7 days a week but please note Saturdays book out weeks in advance
PLEASE NOTE that this is not valid for Friday night challenge

Guidelines

Drivers need to be in a good physical and mental condition to participate in motor sport events
Minimum age for the Sodi SR5 Race Karts experience is 16 years
Minimum height is 1.6m and maximum weight is 125kg
Please note Saturdays are very busy and book out weeks in advance
All Drivers are now required to complete Drivers Registration Online Prior to Arrival

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Public race sessions are for groups of 1 to 25 drivers at a time.

Weather

No racing is carried out during wet weather. In the event that the experience provider has to cancel the racing due to bad weather, you will be rescheduled with the experience provider directly.

Dress Code

Closed-in shoes are essential.

Located in Kingston, 35 minutes south of Brisbane, QLD.

yep, I could have sauntered around the track BUT chose to hit it hard as I could. Did four sessions. Ya definitely know it the next day, and it was definitely worth every bit of "body awakening" ... highly recommended.

Fun day of go karting with family. Disappointed that the go karts vary in speed. Need a show of scores on screen straight after each race then email them to us. Lots of improvements could be made to make the day more enjoyable.

Kart racing at Kingston Park - worst 'Experience'

DONT BUY THIS AS A PRESENT - as there are hidden charges not mentioned on website payable on day. Furthermore, even the staff admitted that you might get a lemon as a Kart - which we did. In addition, their safety measures leave a lot to be desired. I ran off the course (my fault) and hit a wall. NO STAFF came to my rescue. My partner had to stop his kart at the check point to find someone to help me. I have actually written to Red Balloon. Sadly - no reply as yet. Just an email asking for my review!

First time in a go kart in many years, was lots of fun and a huge challenge. The 4 races were ideal as we needed 2 races to get the hang of it, but were too exhausted to do any more. Staff were friendly. It is definitely hard work though, so be prepared for bruises, blisters, and exhaustion.
