Come and enjoy an abseiling adventure on the Central Coast. This experience is great fun and surprisingly easy. No experience required. To maximize the experience for everyone you can choose how much of a challenge you want to take on. The professional guides will ensure the best experience.

What's included?

2.5 Hour abseiling adventure
All safety gear - Safety is paramount and we have a number of safeguards built into all of our abseils to maximise your enjoyment and peace of mind. We also have a safety briefing and training before the experience

Experience is not available during NSW school holidays, weekends and public holidays.

Your abseiling adventure starts with a warm welcome and introduction to the days proceedings. After our safety briefing, your guide will train you in all the abseiling techniques you need to know. You then step out onto some small beginner’s rocks where you can practice your technique and develop your confidence through a series of easy progress stages. By the end of the session you will be able to comfortably experience lengthy rock face descents, open air declines and if you are up for a real challenge, face forward rundowns.

The views from the top are spectacular. Safety is paramount and we have a number of safeguards built into all of our abseils to maximise your enjoyment and peace of mind. These include use of only the finest quality equipment, friendly, experienced guides and a belaying system where our instructors can take control of your descent from the base of the rock face if required. We also have separate instructor ropes so that we can coach you every step of the way if you are in need of any assistance. Experience is not available during NSW school holidays, weekends and public holidays.

Participants under 18 will need to be signed in by a parent or guardian on the day
No previous experience is necessary
This experience is suitable for children over the age of 7 years

When your booking is confirmed by Glenworth Valley, each participant in your group is required to read and accept the providers risk warning and waiver of liability contract. On the day of your activity, before being allowed to participate in the activity, each participant will be required to sign the risk warning and waiver of liability contract. if you have any questions regarding this please contact Glenworth Valley immediately

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

The price quoted is for one person. A minimum of 4 people are required for the tour to proceed.

Weather

Rides are conducted in all weather conditions

Dress Code

Appropriate sun smart clothing such as long pants and a long sleeved shirt are always best but shorts and t shirts are also acceptable

Great half day out for people learning

My partner and I booked this last minute for something to do. It was a fun couple of hours for those who have no prior experience with a good balance of adrenaline inducing and feeling comfortable. We had time for 3-4 abseils each.

Glenworth Valley, worth the visit.

I bought my daughter an absailing experience for Christmas. Then my partner and I decided to join her. It was a really great day. Sarah and Sal were excellent and we will be planning a camping weekend there soon to do more activities at Glenworth Valley. The facilities there look really good. Big thumbs up.

Rob and Loz were the best guides for our abseiling activity. 3 different levels possible and they guide us these 3 things. We get through all of them and were the best. Helpful, nice and interesting thanks again!

I bought this experience for my wife and me and we enjoyed it very much. The two guides were very helpful and made us feel safe. On more or two more rocks would be the best. But for the first time it was a great experience

Top abseiling experience!

We loved our abseiling experience at Glenworth Valley. Our guide, Rob was really experienced and passionate. He taught us all the basic skills along with some more advanced skills as we got the hang of it. We spent a good 2.5 hours up at the abseiling site and were able to abseil several times across the 3 different rock faces. A really great experience!

The abseiling was a great experience (a bit higher may have been nice!) The guides, Chris and Lauren were absolutely professional, and have the perfect personalities for the job, being fun oriented while having a reassuring nature to make it such a thrill while calming their clients!! Thanks again for a wonderful experience!
