Take a journey beneath Western Australia's 12,000 kilometre coastline with a visit to AQWA - The Aquarium of Western Australia. Here you'll discover an abundance of local marine species and come face-to-face with some of the ocean's most notorious sea creatures! Glide across the top of the three million litre aquarium in a glass bottom boat and marvel at the large rays, sharks and turtles beneath your feet. Spend a full day discovering the awesome 40+ exhibits on offer, including one of the world's largest living coral reef exhibits and elusive species like seadragons and cuttlefish. The excitement amplifies at the child-friendly Touch Pool, where visitors can gently touch marine life residents including starfish and baby sharks. An enjoyable day out for the whole family!

Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience

Amazing aquarium with underwater tunnel

Exceeded expectations. Great staff and service that helped us use a red balloon voucher on the spot to book tickets. Indoor and outdoor aquarium with a walk through/conveyor belt aquarium that allows the sea creatures swim over you. Biggest sting rays we’ve ever seen! Great experience

The intriguing underwater world of AQWA captured our fascination of iridescently coloured corals, sponges and seaweeds with an incredible array of brightly painted fish and sea creatures, who to our delight seemed just as interested in checking us out as we were in them! Definitely worth a revolving visit for the young to wonder and the old to be re-amazed!

Was an amazing experience my husband and three loved it! We would highly recommend this! While we were at AQWA we walked around and looked at everything which was included in the price! Had a wonderful lunch! Was an amazing day out!

We booked through Red Balloon and the process was so easy to book. We had the best day at AQWA with family and everyone from the ladies at the front desk, girls in the cafe to the volunteers were so lovely and happy to chat too. Could not recommend this experience more….great day had by all!!!!

We were a family group of 18, the kids had a great day and so did the adults. The volunteers were very helpful and the young girls at the cafe were so lovely and accomodating. The two ladies at the entrance were so helpful too. Highly recommend this outing..!!

We received Red Balloon gift card from a friend and decided to book AQWA. It's very easy to book from the website and they allowed for change of date (flexible!). We spent good 3 hours (including going to the tunnel twice) also ended up purchasing extra ticket for the glass bottom boat riding which is a very cool experience. We had lunch at the cafe and kids love the food there too.
