It's so uncommon to find places that seem to care so much about the experience rather than just buying a tasting. We tasted several gins we hadn't tried before and still learnt lots of new fun things! The host that came around to each of our private tables to explain each taster was a great storyteller. The food was not matched per se, but was really delicious and a great quantity. The gins were not served as cocktails as the photo suggests, but were instead served neat so you could mix with tonic and taste as you please (better this way, but just thought I'd mention it given the photo).

He said “I’m the whisky guy so you won’t be getting much information.” He was clearly run off his feet doing other whisky tastings and left us to our own devices. I could have done this myself at home tasting a few different gins with the same tonic. She kept us all entertained all night and was super attentive and accommodating. The cheese board filled our bellies, along with our gorgeous canape (catering for vegetarians).
