Experience the best of the beach and the mountains on this full day tour from Melbourne. Upon arrival at Wilsons Promontory, embark on your first hike of the day which takes you through stunning terrain to the expanse of The Big Drift, Wilsons Promontory's sand dunes. Be captivated by this snowy playground that appears endless. On return, take a small drive to the general store for some lunch before your second hike of the day. Head out on a 6.8km return journey to the iconic Mt Oberton. At the summit, take delight in arguably the best coastal views in Victoria. Enjoy some well-earned ice cream at Tidal River before heading to Squeaky Beach. Living up to its name, you will wander along the impossibly white sands that make squeaking sounds under your feet as you admire the beautiful turquoise water. As you are leaving the National Park, you will make a quick stop to spot native wildlife like wombats, wallabies and emu playing about in their natural environment.

Guidelines

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bush walking experience recommended. Tracks may have short steep hill sections, rough surfaces and many steps.

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

  • A minimum of seven days notice is required for cancellations
  • No refund will be provided for cancellations within seven days of the booking, however you may transfer the booking to another person's name
  • A $25 administrative fee will apply to all booking changes within seven days of departure
