Trade your work shoes for hiking boots and explore Phillip Island by foot on this small group day tour. Departing from Melbourne, relax in the air-conditioned Toyota Commuter as you make the two hour journey to Phillip Island. The first stop of the day is Cape Woolamai, every surfer's dream beach. Head out on a 6.8km hike through rugged rock formations known as the Pinnacles. Marvel at sweeping views of the Bass Strait and thrashing waves below. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for wallabies, echidnas, shearwater birds and even whales in the winter months.

After the hike, stopover at the quaint town of Cowes for a scrumptious cafe lunch at your own expense, before heading to Phillip Island Koald Reserve. Stroll through this eucalypt woodland and come ‘face-to-face’ with koalas in their natural habitat. The Koala Reserve’s unique treetop boardwalks and close viewing areas allow visitors to see how truly amazing koalas are. Our next stop is The Nobbies for an easy stroll along the boardwalk to discover breathtaking coastline views and the impressive thundering blowhole. This area is home to Australia’s largest seal colony, little penguins, and silver gulls. And to finish the day we will take a waddle on the wild side and see hundreds (sometimes thousands) of penguins emerge from the surf at sunset at the world-famous Penguin Parade.
