Time to hit the highway with our small group (4 - 11 guests) and make our way to the idyllic Mornington Peninsula. Our first stop is the summit of Arthur’s Seat where we’ll share panoramic ocean views and a bite of morning tea. This is just a taste of things to come. We move onto Bushrangers Bay for an 8km return hike featuring unreal coastal scenery, rocky bays, wild oceans, and one picturesque lighthouse. Spot local kangaroos and listen to the songs of native birds as we wander along the undulating path. After we return from our first hike, we will head to Cape Schanck for a smaller walk along the boardwalk. To refuel, we stop at Merchant & Maker for lunch—this cafe has held the title of ‘Best Cafe’ on the Mornington Peninsula for three years running (and we can see why). Our final stop, Peninsula Hot Springs which is an award-winning natural hot spring and outdoor day spa destination. It’s the perfect way to end a great date with nature! (Bathing time 2h)

Guidelines

No bush walking experience required. The track is a hardened or compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps. Walks no greater than 10km.

Water bottle (1L)

Swimsuit for the Peninsula Hot Springs (towels on us)
Sunscreen, sunglasses & a hat

Mornington peninsula hot springs day trip

Great day. Tour guide was on time and explained clearly the format of the day. Offering morning tea refreshments. Our sight seeing well suited to International visitors and guided walk was great. Lunch venue well chosen and great value. Hot Springs a great way to relax after moderate walk that had great views. An all round very enjoyable and value for money day.

Great walk to Bushrangers Bay, stopped off for other view points around the Peninsula as well. The cafe for lunch an inspired choice and topped off by a good soak in the mineral springs.

The most amazing time, the hike to Bushrangers Bay was perfect not too hard and at the end got the most wonderful reward of spending some time in the most beautiful coastline and quick dip in some tranquil rock pools. Then off to have some scrumptious lunch that went down like a treat. Finishing with the most relaxing 2 hours of my life in the hot springs. Wow what a day
