Indulge in a flight of divine chocolates paired with four of Woodstock Wine's fortifieds - a truly finger-licking taste of South Australia! Before table wine, Australian winemakers devoted themselves to crafting top-quality fortifieds and this experience is all about reviving that art and sharing some cellar treasures with you. The "Sticky Fingers" tasting session at Woodstock aims to help you rediscover the pleasure of fortified wine, learn about the extensive winemaking and maturation process, and, of course, savour the sensory experience of chocolate and wine.
With winemaker-picked Haigh's Chocolates provide to enhance your tasting experience, highlighting the complex sensory components in the fortified wines, you'll enjoy a guided tasting experience of four fortified wines, each paired with its matching chocolate accompaniment. And, to top it off, you'll receive a bottle of your favourite Woodstock fortified!
This experience is designed for a minimum of two and maximum of six participants.
A spectator is welcome to attend. Coffee facilities and wine tasting is available and our Coterie Restaurant is open for lunch Wednesday through Sunday.
Woodstock conduct this experience in our Cellar Door, however if the weather is lovely we can set the experience up in our courtyard area.
