Feel your heart race faster and your thirst for speed grow during this drive experience in a F1-style Formula Ford race car. After a safety briefing, driver intuition from a professional race car driver and gear up, strap in to the six-point racing harness in preparation for the drive of a lifetime. Seated only inches above the ground, you'll feel every bump and vibration as your super responsive car reacts to every movement you make. Feel the wind blast over your body and the roar of the engine just inches behind your head, as you power around the track. With ten laps to race, test your speed limits with each. You'll leave with an appetite for more!

Session Length

Please allow approximately 2-3 hours for the experience.
Sessions run from 8am - 4pm
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session start time

Once this experience is booked, it is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled, however changes can be made as per below

Guidelines

Participants must have "P" standard manual driving license and be able to operate a manual gearbox
Participants will be required to sign an indemnity accepting liability for any damage to the car
Minimum age is 16 years. Participants under the age of 18 years will require a parent/guardian to sign such forms on their behalf
Maximum weight is 120kg
The minimum height on this experience is 155 cm, and the maximum is 188 cm
Not suitable for pregnant women or those who suffer from certain medical conditions

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
No refunds will be offered on any booked experiences

Weather

This experience is an outdoor event and will go ahead in wet/damp conditions. If the supplier deems the track unsafe, due to extreme weather conditions, we will reschedule your experience to a convenient later date. We do not offer refunds. In damp or wet conditions, you must still arrive for your allocated session/event unless advised otherwise by the supplier.

Dress Code

If you have your own race gear, feel free to bring them along. Otherwise all safety gear, helmets, boots and suits are supplied. Bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and socks.

Other Info

This event is an all weather event, and in the event that your session cannot run due to weather conditions, we will reschedule your experience to another suitable date and time. Cancellations are subject to the adventure provider.

Great experience to do, not great to watch

Got this for my husband, he enjoyed the experience, I went as a spectator. Be prepared to wait around for 20 mins before any track action as you are not allowed in the briefing. After that you are provided with no seating or coverage and are expected to stand in a field with minimal visibility to the track. With the amount I paid for this you’d expect they’d be able to build a little grandstand for spectators to sit in and watch. I also was not offered to come over and take a photo with my husband as he finished his laps, every other group was. So yeah not a great experience for the amount of money they ask for, also note that if you cause damage to the car this is your responsibility as said in the briefing.

My children bought me a 10 lap gift certificate for Fathers Day, then I added another 10 laps, best thing I ever did, I had an absolute ball, it was fantastic, if you are a bit of a rev head, this is a must do, the event was organised very well, you are assigned into groups with a crew member who are all excellent, they give you great advice. The cars are awesome, they are not governed, you can go as fast or slow as you are comfortable with, great track to drive on, good variety of corners with a couple of straights, if you are thinking about booking, you won’t be disappointed.

The experience left you wanted more! Signed up for 5 laps, but upgraded to 10 on the day which was the best decision. The driving experience was great, and the hot laps were even faster. The experience took 4 hrs, including check in which was longer than anticipated but still great

Such an amazing and thrilling experience for those who love adrenaline. Despite having to reschedule the experience due to covid, it was well worth the wait. I originally had the 10 lap experience although purchased the extra 10 laps which was the best decision as it takes a few laps to get comfortable and know the car and track. Highly recommend having a go of these amazing cars.
