Feel your heart race faster and your thirst for speed grow during this Eastern Creek drive experience in an F1 style Formula Ford race car. After a safety briefing, driver intuition from a professional race car driver and gear up, strap in to the six point racing harness in preparation for the drive of a lifetime.

Seated only inches above the ground, you'll feel every bump and vibration as your super responsive car reacts to every movement you make. Feel the wind blast over your body and the roar of the engine just inches behind your head, as you power around the track. With ten laps to race, test your speed limits with each. You'll leave with an appetite for more!

Important information

Session Length

This experience is approximately two to three hours in duration
Sessions run from 7.30am to 4.30pm, with two dates scheduled per month (dependent on availability)
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session start time

Restrictions

Not suitable for pregnant individuals or those who suffer from certain medical conditions.

Guidelines

Maximum weight limit is 120kg
Minimum age is 16 years old
Minimum height is 155cm and the maximum is 188cm
Bookings are subject to availability
Participants under the age of 18 years old require a parent or guardian to sign forms on their behalf
Participants must have "P" standard manual driving license and be able to operate a manual gearbox
Participants will be required to sign an indemnity accepting liability for any damage to the car

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
No refunds will be offered on any booked experiences

Weather

In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the experience provider and rescheduled.

Dress Code

Bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and socks. Please bring your own race gear, otherwise the experience provider will supply all safety gear, helmets, boots and suits.

Fast but overpriced

I got the experience as a gift. I've done many days racing and doing track experiences at SMSP. This experience used the smallest part of the track, not the full track. We got a guide lap in a group car then taken to our cars. 10 laps is over very quickly as the lap last less then 2 minutes and to familiarise in a car you don't know takes some time so by the time you get into a rhythm it's all over. There was an offer to buy more track laps but the cost was, to me, was excessive. As for the company running it. I cannot fault their professionalism and caring. They were calm, clear with instructions and well organised. If you have done little to no track time then this is a decent event for you. If you have done track days before you might find it over in no time and wondering if it was worth the cost.

I've done a heap of different race experiences. V8s commodores, mustangs, skid pan, drifting. This was far and away the most fun I've had on 4 wheels. A professional outfit with heaps of instruction before jumping in these little beasts. 10 laps was not enough, I'll be coming back

Behind the wheel, the car responded with precision, making every turn and straightaway an intense test of skill and focus. This experience was a lot of fun! The cars are pretty well maintained, and there is plenty of instruction on how to drive the vehicles, and how to behave on track. The staff were all super friendly, and willing to help. Highly recommended for any petrol heads!
