Learn the art of dumpling making with a well-trained and experienced Japanese chef during this hands-on cooking class in the waterside suburb of Neutral Bay. With state-of-the-art equipment and expert guidance, you will learn to make your own dumpling dough to fill with four different fillings like pork, prawn and cabbage, scallop and prawn and vegetarian, as well as tasty dipping sauces. After the class, enjoy all your handcrafted dumplings and bring any leftovers home.

delicious dumplings!

Our dumpling class was very relaxed yet we powered through 2 tasty sauces and 3 varieties of dumplings. Our teacher (sorry, I've forgotten her name) was delightful and shared her experience and knowledge with humour and interest in our progress. A glass of white wine and a dumpling feast completed the experience. I'm ready for the next class! Liz

My partner and I thought we would try something different and do a cooking class, we were a bit weary at first and didn’t know what to expect but I can say we were pleasantly surprised! We did the dumpling cooking class and it was amazing!! We made not 1 kind of dumpling but 3 kinds of dumplings as well as 2 dipping sauces! I genuinely couldn’t fault it! Ken, the teacher, was great! He was so helpful, explained things so well and took the time to help people out who needed it. We got to prepare, cook and eat the food, we even got a copy of the recipe and process! It hasn’t even been 24 hours and I’m already planning my next cooking class. I definitely recommend doing a cooking class with Sydney cooking school, it’s such a great vibe, great for a date day, a day out with the girls or if you genuinely would like to learn some more cooking tips and tricks.

We had a fun time learning how to make dumplings. Ken, our Chef was warm, kind & funny. He certainly made this experience something special. Lots of yummy dumplings to eat. Learned lots, ate lots!

The entire experience was easy. From booking to the class on the day. We cooked dumplings as a family of 4. Ken was fantastic teacher. The preparation was all done and appeared seamless. It was a great family activity. The dumplings were delicious

We had such an amazing day. Chef Ken was fantastic so knowledgeable and engaging and clearly loves what he does. Our finished product may not have looked as neat as his but the taste was delicious.
