Drive three awesome and unique race cars in the same session! The V8 Race Buggy jumps and gets airborne, the YXZ is a pocket rocket and the Subaru WRX Rally Car gets sideways. Afterwards, jump in the car of your choice and let the pro show you how it's done with two blistering hot laps!

What's included?

Six drive laps in a V8 Tatum Race Buggy
Six drive laps in a Yamaha YXZ Race Buggy
Six drive laps in a Subaru WRX Rally Car
Two hot laps in the car of your choice with a professional driver

The day begins with a race briefing to make sure that you are familiar with the cars and the experience that is ahead of you. You'll then meet your race instructor and get strapped into a V8 Race Buggy. Your instructor will offer encouragement and some handy tips on car control, drifting and racing over purpose-built jumps. Your confidence will grow as each lap goes by and so will your speed down the back dirt straight! Next you will be strapped into a Yamaha YXZ with a race instructor beside you, encouraging you to drive the best you can. Lastly you will drive six laps in a race prepared Subaru WRX. Your instructor will give you constant guidance throughout the experience. After tearing up the dirt for a total of 18 laps, you will then hop into the passenger seat for two turbo-charged hot laps with a professional. Choose between any of the three cars and hold on tight as you enjoy the ride of your life!

Important information

Session Length

Allow up to two hours at the track for your experience
Session times are 8:30am, 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm
Booking times will be confirmed by the experience provider

Restrictions

A zero alcohol and drug policy for all drivers will be strictly adhered to. Maximum weight is for this experience is 130kg and maximum height is 201cm.

Guidelines

Participants are required to sign an indemnity form, parent or guardian to sign waiver for minors
All drivers must be 16 years or older and all passengers must be 10 years or older.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience unless extreme circumstances

Numbers on the Day

There will be a maximum group size of 10 people.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome with great viewing of the race track. You are able to stay with the participant right up until their drive. There is a safe environment for kids with plenty of space for them to run around.

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. A text message will be sent to the person who booked the experience.

Dress Code

You will get a little dusty with this experience so keep that in mind!

Other Info

Photo packages are available for purchase on the day for $50. There are no canteen facilities available on site, so please feel free to bring your own food and drinks. EFTPOS facilities are not available.

4 hour long wait and no video of the drive

Red Baloon booking people get special waiting time of 4 hours for Subaru rally car experience. I had booked the rally car driving experience for 1230 pm and as per their guidelines reached at 12. Had to wait till 4 pm for my turn and then eventually another 15 mins for the Hot lap. Additionally I had booked the video recording of my experience considering I had gone alone, they just recorded my hot lap and not me driving the Subaru. Overall : did I have fun surely, but at the end unhappy with the experience. Give it a miss

Got the V8 buggy experience for a birthday and the whole tung was excellent. Really fast to get me through and the laps were so good I added on some hot laps with an instructor. 10/10 would recommend.

Arrived to a relaxed atmosphere. Tea and coffee on side to make whilst you wait. Clean bathrooms after the long drive. Great staff making you feel comfortable and confident in their ability to keep you safe. Generous with their time and great competency
