★★★★★ ★★★★★ Disappointing - Angry Instructor Tania 12 April 2024 I booked this for my daughter who only had her P plates for 1 week prior. She was brave enough to go on her own but once there, she got nervous and parked too close to the next car. The instructor yelled at her and also said can’t you see everyone has reversed in. So in front of everyone, she had to reverse in, trying to use her mirrors like I taught her, while the instructor kept yelling ‘look at me’ as he wanted to direct her in. She was so nervous and afraid. She is softly spoken, easily intimidated young woman, and this set the tone for the rest of the day. While the instructor did come up to her later and apologise for yelling (blaming it on another lady who apparently kept back chatting just before my daughter arrived) , I feel this unacceptable. If you are in a position of instructing/teaching, you need to be in control of your anger and find a way to not take it out on innocent people. It left a sour taste on the whole experience for my daughter. I will not be sending my next 2 children through the course there. This course would definitely be suited more to first time road users than people who have been driving for 20+ years. I feel The description of this experience needs to be re-worded. You don’t actualy drive on the skid pan in this course (located next door) performing my idea of what skid control would be or techniques for regaining control of your car if you loose traction or control of it in the wet.
