Average temperatures range from 20 - 30 degrees Celsius with 60% of the rainfall between October to May and 40% from June to September. The rainforest and region are spectacular no matter what time of the year you choose to travel.

The mood of the tropics lends itself to casual attire. Loose, light clothing, coupled with sandshoes, runners or sandals is perfect for daytime resort wear. Smart casual attire is suitable for evenings in the Julaymba Restaurant.

Rate provided are only for the Lagoon Treehouse room type. An additional cost of $30 per night is applicable to upgrade to the Canopy Room type across both seasons.

The Daintree Ecolodge is located 90 minutes north of Cairns, on one of Australia’s most spectacular drives. Departing Cairns on the Captain Cook Highway, follow the signs along the sealed coastal drive towards Port Douglas, Mossman and Daintree Village. The lodge is nestled on the southern banks of the impressive Daintree River so a ferry crossing is not required.
