Step into the aroma of freshly ground beans on the Gold Coast and enjoy a six hour coffee making and latte art class designed to build real confidence behind the machine. It’s a hands on day that suits passionate home brewers and anyone curious about taking their skills further, with plenty of guidance along the way.

Your morning session covers the foundations, including a look at coffee history, coffee beans from seed to your cup, how to use a commercial espresso machine and grinder, pulling espresso shots and preparing a typical cafe menu. You’ll also learn how to clean, maintain and look after the equipment properly, plus receive practical advice for anyone interested in working in the coffee industry.

In the afternoon, you’ll move into latte art techniques like free pouring, milk layering and etching, with unlimited milk and coffee to practise which focus on how to make a descent heart. To finish, you’ll take home a certificate of attendance as a polished keepsake of your day.
