Expert tuition

Test your focus and coordination with a clay target shooting experience under the guidance of an expert instructor. Hosted by Olympic bronze medallist and four-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist Adam Vella or one of the venue's highly trained instructors, this hands-on shooting experience is perfect for beginners. Before stepping onto the range, you'll receive a comprehensive safety briefing and learn the fundamentals of firearm handling and clay target shooting techniques.

With a qualified instructor by your side, you'll take aim at a variety of single and double clay targets from different shooting stations, building confidence and refining your skills as you go. Whether you're looking for a unique outdoor activity, a new challenge or an introduction to clay target shooting, this experience offers plenty of action and expert guidance in a safe and supportive environment. Your experience includes instruction, safety briefing, equipment and target shooting sessions. Food, drinks and personal expenses are not included.

Session Length

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your session time
Booking is required to secure your spot
Session duration is approximately 45min - 1hr 30min depending on final numbers

Restrictions

The experience provider does not allow any person/s to participate or attend if you are deemed a ”prohibited person” under section 3 of the Firearms Act 1996.

Guidelines

Minimum age is 14 years old
Participants under 18 must be signed in by a responsible adult
Participants must have photographic ID in order to shoot
A firearm license is not required
Participants found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to shoot and your voucher will be forfeited without entitlement to a refund or reschedule
Disposable ear protection (earplugs) is provided and the experience provider encourages participants to bring their own sunglasses, otherwise eye protection is provided
The experience provider reserves the right to cancel a session for any reason

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Maximum of 24 participants.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome. Seated undercover area along with complementary coffee/tea available. Cold drinks for purchase and full amenities on site.

Weather

Our range # 8 is undercover, however in the event of extremely bad weather, the event may be cancelled and be re-scheduled at no cost to you.

Dress Code

Fully enclosed shoes are essential. No thongs, singlets or camouflage clothing can be worn.

Great experience for novice shooters

The clay target shooting is a lot of fun - even if you have no experience (like us). The team gave a great safety overview and got us straight into how to use the guns, etc. The instructors are really friendly and help when needed. I'd highly recommend for someone who wants to learn, or if you just want to have a fun experience with a new skill.

My partner and I did the Clay Target shooting session and really enjoyed it! The instructors were very experienced and thorough. We were both hitting plenty of targets pretty quickly, and the session was very well run. Highly recommended.

A lot of money to pay for not alot of shooting

The shooting was great but for the package that was $190, we received 25 shots. 25 shots go very quickly. Not worth the money in my opinion.
