Enjoy a 90 minute clay target shooting experience with expert instruction designed to help you build confidence and improve your aim. Begin with an informative introduction to clay target shooting and essential gun safety before heading out to the layout for individual coaching.

Most sessions are hosted by Olympian and Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist Laura Coles, offering the opportunity to learn from an accomplished professional. With expert guidance throughout, you'll develop your technique while enjoying the challenge of hitting your targets. Add a competitive edge by going head to head with other participants in the group, putting your newly developed skills to the test in a friendly competition.

At the end of the session, trophies will be presented to the winners. More than just an exciting activity, clay target shooting can help build self confidence and encourage a belief in your ability to learn something new. Who knows, this experience could even spark a new passion.

Available on Saturday and Sunday at select times
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the experience start

Guidelines

Bookings are essential
Minimum age is 12 years old
Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a legal guardian
No gun licence is necessary
Participants must bring photo ID with them
Participants subject to a firearms prohibition order are not eligible to participate
Participants under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to participate, no refund will be provided

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 10 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 10 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Clay Target Shooting for Father's Day - INCREDIBLE

I bought this incredible experience as a Father's Day gift from Red Balloon. We've both shot hand guns before down at the range but never Clay Target Shooting. This was a first for us and we had a blast! Hot Shots Shooting were super organised in the emails they sent, information they provided ahead of time and the individuals who were our instructors on the day. From the safety briefing to the personal instruction on how to shoot the targets and tips for success, they were amazing! My teacher was amazing with his instruction, so much so I was able to actually hit the third stage target where it moves across your vision at medium speed, which surprised and delighted me! To top it off, the group of shooters did a fun competition at the end where we did the stages again after our practice round. Luck for myself and my dad, he got first place and I came second! Big, fun surprise for us both (particularly because I didn't remember that was going to be part of the experience). Love, love, love it and can't recommend Hot Shots Shooting enough!

Hadn’t shot for 48 years and my fear was that I wouldn’t hit anything! The coaching was calm, strategic and affirming and I surprised myself!! A great experience and highly recommend it.

Both instructors were amazing! They are professional, knowledgeable, patient, kind and supportive.They guided us through the process of clay shooting, provided instant supportive and helpful feedback in a kind supportive way. It was great to see the progress of all of us by the end of our cold morning. It was great to have the competition aspect at the end. A great different 30th birthday gift!

I enjoyed the activity and the staff were friendly and attentive. It is a little pricey and the session was a little slow paced, would have liked to be able to participate a bit more over the course of 2 hours but due to there being 9 other people it takes a bit of time to go through. Maybe for that price it would be nice to have a little sausage sizzle afterwards.

Something I have always wanted to do and it was excellant. The instructors were very good and safety was a priority. If you are thinking whether to try it or not I say try it. The recoil on to your shoulder is a lot more gentle than I thought it would be. Good fun.

I got this as a birthday gift which was a great idea was a great experience for a first time shooter ... fun and also informative. Instructors where great helpful and patient alot of fun with the competition in the end... will definitely be going back
