Experience one of the most scenic coastal drives in Australia along Great Barrier Reef Drive, heading North from Cairns. See the endangered cassowary and Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo as well as other wildlife or hand feed the wallabies and kangaroos.

Morning tea and a lunch are included. Your guided rainforest walk takes place after lunch, and then you will spend some time at Cape Tribulation Beach. Stopping for magnificent views of the Daintree River and Coral Sea, Alexandria lookout is a real highlight. On your Daintree River cruise, look out for local wildlife including water birds and Estuarine Crocodiles.

This tour is approximately 12 hours in duration
Tours depart at approximately 7:30am from Cairns and 8:15am from Port Douglas
Tours return at approximately 7:30pm to Cairns and 6:30pm to Port Douglas
Tours operate daily except the 14th of June and the 25th of December

Great day tour of the Daintree

Fantastic tour led by Geoff to truly immerse yourself in the Daintree rainforest. I did feel too much time was spent at the wildlife habitat for which it would have been good to have longer at the swimming hole which was really compromised. In addition, too long was spent at the Alexandra Lookout (20 mins) when we weren’t encouraged to get out of the bus at Daintree Ice Cream! This tour would be improved if it included Mossman Gorge.

No regrets booking this tour!

Me and my partner did this tour 7/1/2021 and had the most enjoyable time. Our tour guide was timely, professional and super friendly. The included stops were all very valuable, and for all the places we went to, the value for money was incredible. I would recommend this to everyone who goes to visit Cairns.

Be prepared for a very long day. The driving consisted of a good portion of it. Surprise stop at a gelato shop that’s cash only so make sure you have $$. The guide we had didn’t seem to stop talking and was very redundant a bit but overall a good day. Lots of animals and the forest walk was okay. Loved seeing the cape and beaches

Our Tour Guide Lisa was very informative which added to a fantastic experience of Cape Tribulation & Daintree and Porche our Guide on the river cruise was very knowledgeable for our crocodile experience.

Its a long day but well worth it, you spend a large amount of time on the bus but the scenery is wonderful. Knowledgeable tour guide (Bill) who knew history of the area, could tell you about all the flora and fauna along with many anecdotes made the trip more interesting. Because we live in Australia the only negative is the wildlife habitat visit because we have seen all the animals before but for visitors who don't reside in Australia its great, we did still feed the wallabies! Lunch at Cape Trib beach was great as was the river cruise but what light coloured clothes and use Aeroguard!

The rainforest walk was very short and majority of the boardwalk was cut off and we weren't informed until we were there. The river cruise was great and informative. Tour guide was very friendly.

Was a great day seeing the wildlife habitat lots of animals to see. Tour guide/bus driver was nice and funny, had lots of information to give at locations and on the bus trip as we went past different things. Cape Trib and Daintree was amazing to see, everything rang smoothly.
