Discover three of Australia's most stunning tropical locations, on this fascinating full day guided tour to the golden beach of Cape Tribulation, World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest, and the enchanting, pristine surrounds of Mossman Gorge.
Spend your day visiting some of Australia's most scenic tropical locations. Begin by travelling in an air-conditioned coach to Cape Tribulation, where some of the oldest rainforest in the world is located. Your tour will begin with a stop at Mossman Gorge Centre for morning tea before boarding the shuttle bus into Mossman Gorge. Your guide will take you on a guided walk through this enchanting rainforest setting, sharing knowledge and secrets about one of the oldest rainforests.
Next, enjoy a one hour cruise along Daintree River, where you can learn about the habitat of birds, tree snakes, unique plants and the estuarine crocodile residents of this region. Stop for a lunch break, where you can enjoy a tropical lunch in a private rainforest property, with a choice of steak, fish or vegetarian meal, with fresh salad and fruit to choose from.
Once you have finished your lunch, you will continue on your way to Cape Tribulation; world famous for its stunning dense green rainforest meeting the pale white sand, aquamarine water and fringing coral reefs. Enjoy these panoramic views from the Kulki Lookout. Enjoy an afternoon refreshment at the Daintree Ice Cream Company; their delicious ice cream is made from exotic fruits grown in their on-site fruit orchard. After winding through the lush green rainforests of the Alexandra Range, enjoy a spectacular lookout over the Daintree River estuary, Snapper Island and beyond to the colourful Coral Sea. Sit back and relax after an memorable day exploring this beautiful World Heritage Listed region.
