This exhilarating jet boat adventure combines all the thrills and spills of the jet blast with stunning views of Cairns. The journey begins at Marlin Marina with a comprehensive safety briefing and a rundown of the trip ahead. Then it's time for take off! Hear the roar of the engine as you soar past the multi-million dollar super yachts and charter boats moored at Trinity Inlet. Hold on tight and feel the adrenaline rush as your surprised by a roller coaster of manoeuvres along the way, such as 360 degree spins, slides, fish tails and more! Cruise past beautiful wetlands and keep your eyes peeled for an abundance of local wildlife, including the ferocious salt water crocodile.

Important information

Session Length

Rides operate from Tuesday to Sunday (daily during QLD school holidays)
Please arrive at the marina at least 20 minutes prior to departure to allow time for check-in

Guidelines

No particular level of fitness or experience is required
Minimum height for the jet boat ride is 110cm (1.1 metres)
A life jacket is supplied that is rated to carry a maximum weight of 150kg
Passengers under the age of 18 require a parent or guardian to sign the Acknowledgement of Risk form
Children under 12 must travel with an adult and must be at least 1.1m tall
Any passenger who is pregnant or suffers from back or neck injuries or suffers from any serious heart condition, or has any serious injuries, must not ride in the jet boat
Passengers who are believed to be affected by alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to ride
Please bring your confirmation email with you on the day of your jet boat ride

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Each jet boat ride can take up to 12 passengers.

Dress Code

Please wear comfortable clothes suitable to the weather on the day, eg. shorts, t-shirt and runners. Please note you will get wet! forget your sunscreen and sunglasses as the glare on the water can be quite fierce.

Other Info

All passengers have seat belts and there are safety bars to hold on to during the ride. Please do not bring your camera, the provider will take awesome photos of you during the ride and these can be purchased back at the wharf.

Had an absolute ball. Thankyou to the whole team. Age is a state of mind. I'm the 'other side' of 70 and thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Did I get wet? Of course I did - part of the fun. Everyone was welcoming and professional, from booking to check-in, to the actual ride. And apart from the 'thrills', got to see a part of Cairns that is away from the tourist haunts. My recommendation - try it, no matter what your age. Thanks again to 'Bad Fishy'. An experience I'll definitely remember. Would I do it again? Guess!! Of course I would.

So glad we did it on the first day. It was fantastic, great service, friendly staff and went out of their way to call us to see if we were lost and gave us directions on the phone while we were trying to find the warf. Thank you so much for a great experience. We loved it.
