Set deep within a lush tropical rainforest of North Queensland, lies a 50 metre hair raising Bungy Tower. It has boldly stood for over 30 years daring thousands of people to face their free-falling fears. What makes this location so unique is that the team offer a 'jump menu' of up to 16 different styles that tests any hardcore adrenaline junkie, the only place in the world to do so. There really is something for everyone! Your safety and comfort will be of paramount importance on the day with experienced, fun and friendly staff on hand to assist you (and calm you down) at all times. All you need to focus on is the fall! With your toes cutting out over the edge of the tower, wait for the Jump Master to count you down in 5, 4, 3,2,1...

When the adrenaline is still coursing through your veins over what you have just accomplished, you will then have a go of the Giant Swing. This swing is the only multi-person swing of its kind in Australia designed to allow up to 3 people to experience extreme speed and acceleration together. It swoops through the jungle from 45 metres down to 1 metre in 3.5 seconds, reaching speeds up to 120km/h. You will get attached to the Swing and winched up into the rainforest where you will be in control of your own destiny - pull the cord to release the Swing into rapid free-falling motion! Expect to be windswept.

Child Rate is for up to 14years of age Student Rate - MUST show valid Student ID at check-in, otherwise full rate will be charged on day of travel.

Guidelines

Bungy: Minimum weight to solo Bungy is 45kg. Over 30kg may be able to tandem jump, call and discuss for further information. Maximum solo weight is 150kg. Maximum combined (tandem) weight is 235kg. Giant Swing: Maximum of 3pax on Giant Swing at any one time. Minimum weight for solo Giant Swing is 55kg and maximum combined weight is 200kg. No set age limits apply; however, the child MUST fit safely into the harness and be over 25kgs. If in doubt, please call ahead to avoid disappointment.

Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Maximum of 3 participants on the Giant Swing at any one time. Bungy Jump is a solo activity.

Dress Code

Comfortable, casual clothing and closed-toe shoes. Alternatively, participants are welcome to go barefoot.

Bungy jumping/Giant swing

A.J.Hackett bungy in Cairns is a great place to face your fears, we had a ball , was definitely daunting to bungy jump but once you have done it you will sent to do it again. After doing the bungy the Giant swing is like a relaxing finish to your fun. Friendly and professional staff who do their best to keep you calm and help you enjoy the experience.

The bungee jump and swing was epic, the whole staff @ Aj Hacketts skypark Cairns were the best. The process from purchase of red balloon voucher to jumping was super simple and easily managed from the skypark staff with inclusion of pickup and drop off from my hotel. The voucher was an absolute bargain and super recommended. Thanks guys was soo good. : )

Highly recommend this experience for many reasons! Book your Bungy Jump with AJ Hackett Cairns and then enjoy exploring the beautiful Cairns surroundings! I have always said I could never do Bungy Jumping after going on a ride years ago at Sydney's Wonderland that simply dropped, after that feeling I said never again...BUT if you get yourself in the right frame of mind you can do anything. Watching back my video and go pro footage and even looking at my photos of this experience I look calm but I was absolutely terrified. As they say "Being fearless isn't being 100% fearful, it's being terrified but you jump anyway..." The Minjin swing was just as scary! It's better to pair up with another person as you go faster! You get a cool usb in the shape of a bungy jumper and a t-shirt and certificates to show all your friends and family. I recommend getting the full package for memories of a lifetime! Thank you Red Balloon for the voucher that I won through Instagram for the 2 Million Good times competition, I am ridiculously grateful that you were apart of my amazing holiday in Cairns!
