Brisbane Story Bridge Adventure Dawn Climb

• Dawn Climb Availability: Dawn Climbs operate on two Saturdays per month, except during December and January, when they operate every Saturday. Availability is subject to scheduled climb dates and capacity.

Alcohol: Climbers must record a blood-alcohol level below 0.05%. Climbers are subject to a mandatory breathalyzer test before climbing. Anyone who refuses the test will not be permitted to climb Weight: Climbers must weigh under 130 kg, due to safety equipment requirements. Pregnancy: Guests who are up to 20 weeks pregnant may participate at their own risk and must wear the required safety harness. Guests over 20 weeks pregnant cannot participate. SBAC recommends guests who are pregnant up to 20 weeks obtain a recent fitness certificate from their GP No mobile phones are permitted on the climb. No cameras, Go Pros or personal recording devices are permitted. No Meta smart glasses or other smart glasses are permitted on the climb

• Age: Climbers must be 6 years or older.
• Height: Climbers must be at least 110 cm tall.
• Children: Children aged 6–9 require one accompanying adult per child. Children aged 10–16 may climb at a ratio of one adult to three children.
• Prescription glasses and sunglasses are permitted and will be secured appropriately for the climb.
• Essential medical items, such as an asthma puffer, may be taken on the climb. Please advise your Climb Leader during preparation so the item can be safely secured.
• Fitness: Climbers need a general level of health and fitness and must be capable of climbing stairs independently and completing the experience safely in outdoor weather conditions
• Medical conditions: Guests must disclose relevant medical conditions, injuries or recent surgery before climbing. Certain heart, respiratory, neurological, balance, back, limb or joint conditions may require assessment or prior approval
• Climber Declaration: All participants must complete the Story Bridge Adventure Climb Declaration Form before their climb and provide accurate information regarding their health and suitability to participate
• Guests aged 75 years or older are welcome to climb, provided they have the appropriate level of health and fitness to safely complete the experience. SBAC recommends that climbers aged 75+ consult their GP and obtain a Certificate of Fitness completed within the last three months before climbing. Guests must be able to climb stairs independently and participate safely in outdoor conditions
• Footwear: Fully enclosed, rubber-soled footwear is compulsory. Climbers are supplied with a fully enclosed climb suit, with additional weather-related accessories available as required.
• Personal belongings: Personal communication devices, including mobile phones, must be switched off within the check-in premises. SBAC may also inspect bags, backpacks and other containers entering the premises.

• Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and are only valid for the booked climb
• Gift Certificates are non-refundable
• No refund will be provided in case of booking cancellation or no-show

Requests to change a booking (subject to SBAC management approval) may only be made to the time or date of a Climb but not to the number or identity of Climbers. Administration fees apply as follows:

• Requests to change a booking up to 14 days before the climb date will incur a $50 fee per booking
• Requests to change a booking within 13 days to 72 hours will incur a $25 rescheduling fee per booked climber
• Requests to change a booking within 72hrs cannot be accommodated

In the case of purchases bought through a Reseller, that Reseller will be responsible for any rescheduling administration, in accordance with SBAC’s rescheduling policies

You’ll share your Story Bridge Adventure Climb with a group of up to 14 climbers, led by an experienced Climb Leader who will guide, support and share stories with you throughout the experience. To create a comfortable experience on the bridge, each climb group departs approximately 15 minutes apart, allowing every group their own space to enjoy the views, storytelling and journey at a relaxed pace.

Rain or shine, it’s a great time to climb! A little rain won’t stop the adventure! Climbs operate in most weather conditions, and we’ll provide rain jackets to help keep you comfortable along the way. In fact, climbing after a shower can be extra special – think dramatic Brisbane skies, fresh air and, if you’re lucky, a spectacular rainbow over the city. Climbs will only be cancelled in unsafe weather conditions, such as lightning, hailstorms or severe winds. If your climb is cancelled due to weather, our team will contact you directly to reschedule your experience.

Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that allows you to move freely. Fully enclosed, secure, rubber-soled shoes are compulsory. Comfortable walking or sports shoes are recommended. A Story Bridge Adventure Climb suit and all required safety equipment will be provided. Every climber receives a complimentary SBAC hat to wear during the climb and take home as a keepsake. Mobile phones, cameras, Meta smart glasses, smart watches and other personal belongings cannot be taken onto the bridge. Prescription glasses and sunglasses are permitted and will be securely attached before climbing. Essential medical items, such as asthma puffers, may be taken when required and will be safely secured by the team. Long hair may need to be tied back, and loose jewellery or accessories should be removed before climbing. Additional weather protection may be provided when required.
