Whether you're an experienced paddler or you've never sat in a kayak before, this tour is the perfect way to see Brisbane from a new, more romantic perspective. Glide down Brisbane River and pass under the beautiful Story Bridge or picturesque South Bank, taking in the wonderful views and enjoying the calm of the water. Your fully qualified instructor will ensure your safety and give you instruction on how to paddle and steer. You’ll be the captain of your own kayak and whether you want thrills, spills or chills, there’s no better way to discover Brisbane’s river city! Everyone is given a personal floatation device and you can even take the kids (aged eight and above).

This day tour runs for approximately 90 minutes.

Guidelines

Minimum age for the tour is 8 years
Confirmation will be received at time of booking
Before participating, all participants must sign an Indemnity Agreement Form personally or by a guardian if the participant is under the age of 18 years

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

Subject to favourable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.

Dress Code

Please dress in clothes that can get wet. Hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are highly recommended.

Other Info

A water bottle is also recommended, however you can purchase drinks on the day. Complimentary showers and sunscreen are available.

A beginners only experience.

Would not recommend for those competent and confident in kayak. Was held back by beginners and would’ve been a better option to hire own kayak and go as far as we wanted rather than always having to stop and wait for others. This is a great option for those who haven’t kayaked before as the instructor will help you. Do not expect any “tour” or guide of the city.

Had an awesome time on the kayak tour. Our guide, Julian, gave clear instructions to ensure the safety of the group and was a wealth of knowledge about the local area. You could paddle at your own pace and take in the scenery along the way. Definitely would recommend for all ages. Thanks Julian!
