Alcohol is served to guests aged 18 years and over only. A mocktail option is available at the cocktail demonstration stop for guests who do not drink alcohol.

• Weather: The trail runs in light rain — don't let a grey sky put you off, just bring an umbrella if showers are forecast. The tour does not run in storms or severe weather. Guests will be notified at least 2 hours prior to start time if the tour needs to be cancelled due to weather.
• Dietary requirements: As this is a chef-selected tasting journey, the following key dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and seafood allergies. All dietary requirements must be communicated prior to the tour. Guests will be asked about dietary requirements upon booking confirmation.

This experience runs with small groups from two to eight guests.

The Founding Flavours Trail moves through Brisbane's inner city, beginning at King George Square — the civic heart of the CBD — before passing through the historic City Botanic Gardens, one of Brisbane's most beloved green spaces with an uninterrupted horticultural history dating to 1828. The trail continues along the scenic riverfront precinct, visiting a selection of celebrated inner-city venues ranging from a contemporary artisan providore to landmark heritage buildings that have defined Brisbane's cultural and culinary identity. The final stop is one of Brisbane's most atmospheric heritage bars, housed in a beautifully preserved inner-city building. All venues are within easy walking distance of each other through some of the city's most scenic and storied streets.
