We appreciated the thoughtful gestures and little extras of the proprietors. On entry to our cabin we were presented with flowers, chocolates, freshly baked cake and strawberries for afternoon tea. The provisions for breakfast were bountiful and delicious. And what comfy beds! Marissa had turned the air conditioning on prior to our arrival to make the cottage warm and ensured there was enough firewood in case we wanted an open fire. The breakfast provisions were fresh and generous and the cottage was very modern inside and the towels, bed linen and robes were luxurious. The cottages are far enough apart to ensure privacy and altogether it was a most enjoyable stay.

★★★★★ ★★★★★ How's the serenity – cosy cabin in the mountains Emily 4 November 2020 What a gorgeous stay in Bilpin. Our hosts were there to greet us on arrival but our cottage was far enough away that we felt like we had our own private getaway in the Blue Mountains. The cottage is one of three cabins in the area but we didn't see anyone else and enjoyed the privacy. The breakfast provisions were delicious – fresh bread, butter, bacon, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes, with a baked apple dessert as an extra treat. We sat out on the verandah in amongst the lush greenery each night and cherished being able to escape city life for a couple days. We really had no reason to leave other than to drive to Walls Lookout (about 17mins) for a walk through the bush. The spa bath was especially delightful and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
