Visit Flemington, home of the Melbourne Cup and the race that stops the nation. Pass by the Commonwealth Games 2006 Athletes Village and drive around the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit.

Your sports-mad guide will provide you with history and you’ll realise why Melbourne is the sports capital of Australia. An enjoyable lunch and drink is also included

Session Length

Tours may be subject to venue availability - some venues may be closed for special functions or events
Tours depart at 8:30am and finish at 2pm

Restrictions

All venues visited are active event sites and as such are sometimes subject to closure to non-event visitors. On these occasions we will show you as much of a venue as is possible.

Guidelines

Dietary requirements can be catered for

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

We require a minimum of 6 guests for this tour to proceed. Maximum group size is usually 11 guests but may be up to 24 people during peak times such as Spring Racing Carnival.

Weather

Melbourne weather can be variable - we recommend you check the weather forecast and dress appropriately including carrying sunscreen or an umbrella where necessary.

Dress Code

There is no dress code however we recommend you wear comfortable shoes for walking as parts of this tour take place on foot.

Visiting the MCG is a must do experience

We had a fantastic tour with Tamara and loved that it was a small group (only 7). Tamara was full of information and tips which made the drive around Melbourne very interesting. The lunch included at the MCG was amazing and I would certainly go there again for lunch. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone (especially cricket lovers

we went Flemington first it was ok then we went to the MCG it was a good tour we saw all the players rooms and the members rooms and the tour guide was very good it was not long and maybe it dan be longer to be better.

This tour is highly recommended for all sporting venue enthusiasts. Tour was very professionally run in a laid back manner - making everyone feel at ease. Not only where we given a very detailed narrative around they venues attended but an ongoing commentary of sights in the Melbourne CBD was provided

Our tour operator (Anthony) was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Melbourne and each of the sporting venues we visited. This was a great tour, very informative and included something for everyone. Some stairs involved but you do not have to be overly fit to do this tour, just interested! Very thorough tours of MCG and Flemington race-course, and even if you are not into football, cricket, or horse racing, I think you will still learn something about the history of Melbourne. Highly recommended.

Even for a local, this was a great experience. Just visiting the venues on non-event days allowed me the freedom to view parts of the facilities that I had never had access to. Great tour guide, very knowlegable, gave us history, background which enhanced the enjoyment.
