Discover pottery wheel throwing on a relaxed 90 minute beginner workshop in the heart of Brisbane, shaping earthenware clay into a few pieces of your own.
Enjoy a relaxed 90 minute beginner pottery workshop in the heart of Brisbane City, where an experienced instructor guides you through the basics of wheel throwing from start to finish. With patient, step by step tuition, you will learn how to centre and shape earthenware clay on the wheel, then create a few unique pieces to call your own.
Perfect for absolute beginners, this is a hands on, feel good way to try something new, whether it is a first date, a catch up with friends or a creative celebration. Bring your own drinks, settle in at the wheel and enjoy the calm focus of working with your hands. At the end of the session, take your air dried creations home on a small craft tray, with the option to leave selected pieces for kiln firing. It is a thoughtful, memory making gift for anyone who loves to get creative and try their hand at something a little different.
