Step into the world of archery and experience the thrill of landing your first shot on target with a two hour and 30 minute beginner friendly archery lesson in Redcliffe. Designed for anyone curious to try something new, with expert coaches guiding you through every step in a relaxed and supportive setting. Learn essential range safety, how to handle a bow, load arrows, aim with sights, and release with confidence as your skills quickly build.

Use high quality recurve bows with full protective gear provided, and get plenty of hands on practice to refine your technique at your own pace. Bow sizes and target distances are adjusted to suit each participant, making it accessible and enjoyable for all. A short break gives you time to unwind and connect with others before finishing the session with a fun, interactive challenge that brings everything together.

Session Length

This experience is two hours and 30 minutes in duration
Sundays, 9am to 11.30am or 1pm to 3.30pm sessions available

Guidelines

Minimum age of 12 years
Camouflage clothing and open toe footwear, including sandals and thongs, are not permitted.
Any clothing that is sexually inappropriate or racially vilifying is forbidden
This beginner course is for independent participants
All participants must be able to follow instructions and participate within a group
All participants are required to sign a waiver before participating in the activity

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
Refunds or reschedules require written proof of inability to attend before the event; five percent admin fee applies to all refunds

Numbers on the Day

Maximum of 15 participants.

Spectators

An undercover area behind the shooting lanes is available for any spectators or assistants who wish to attend on the day.

Weather

This experience runs in all weather conditions.

Dress Code

Please bring sunscreen, a water bottle, tie back any long hair and remove any large earrings or facial piercings. All particpants must wear enclosed, flat shoes.

A fantastic morning of archery!

Michael and Emma made our archery experience absolutely awesome. From the warm welcome and clear safety briefing to guiding us from our very first shot to our last, they were friendly, experienced, patient, and calm throughout the session. At the same time, they never compromised on safety, making sure everyone was comfortable and following the correct procedures. My daughter and I really appreciate learning the right way, so we loved the structured approach. It made the whole experience feel safe, relaxed, and incredibly enjoyable. We left wanting to come back and practise more! Once you hit the bullseye, the feeling is addictive... and popping the balloons is even more satisfying! 🎯😄 If you're looking for a fun activity with excellent instructors, I highly recommend Archery Experience. We'll definitely be back!
