Race around the world famous Mt Panorama in a real V8 race car on four drive laps with expert tuition from an in car coach as you blister around the track.

Seize the opportunity to drive a real V8 Race car around the iconic Mt Panorama, the same track that hosts the Bathurst 1000 every year. Upon arrival, you'll sign in and be run through a safety briefing to ensure you're well equipped for the drive ahead. You'll gear up into your race attire, have your photo taken in the professional photo garage, and be strapped into the driver's seat. With an experienced instructor by your side, you'll drive around the world famous track four times, receiving live tuition the entire time and encouragement to drive faster each lap with safety in mind. Normally a public road, the track will be closed for your race so you can forgo the normal speed limit and let loose! Feel free to bring along spectators to soak up all the excitement on the sidelines.

No manual transmission driving experience necessary.

Session Length

Please allow a two to three hours for this experience, including the briefing
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking time

Guidelines

Participants must be at least 18 years and hold your P plate license at a minimum
All participants must be drug and alcohol free
A V8 automatic Holden is available for drivers who don't hold a manual license
Maximum weight limit is 130kg
Minimum height is 135cm and the maximum height is 194cm
Participants who arrive on the day of their experience and do not adhere to these guidelines will forfeit their experience
Race days are held throughout the year on specified dates
Please note there is an excess paid to the experience provider in the event of any damage caused to the car
Once this experience is booked, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, however changes can be made as per cancellation policy

Cancellation

This experience is non refundable
Bathurst Event: Please note: as Bathurst is an exceptional event, a 60-day cancellation policy applies. No bookings will be rescheduled within 60 days of the booked event. Bookings and Vouchers can be transferred to another person if the original participant is unable to attend. Lunch bookings purchased are non-refundable.
Failure to give notice or un-attendance: In the event that you redeem a voucher “convert to a booking” and you do not attend the experience date, or choose not to participate in your experience will result in your booking being unusable for any future bookings and the redemption period being void. This is due to Fastrack Experiences bearing the cost to prepare and provide your experience irrespective of your un-attendance or non-participation.

The drive of a lifetime

I am 80yo, it was a gift from the children, the drive was exhilarating, the tutor giving pin point accuracy with his instructions. Being an old rally driver, this was completely different. I find it hard to express how good the experience was, one of the hilights of my driving career.

this was an excellent experience, listen to the instructor and they will have you lapping at speeds you never thought possible. Very professional and efficient operation.

This is a great experience overall however as expected it was tightly controlled and the instructor had a brake pedal to keep the speed down.

Great bucket list experience for any racing fan, male or female. Totally enjoyed the experience. All the staff were very friendly and happy to answer any question. My in car coach was great in making me go quicker. You don't realise how tight some corners are and how steep it is going down the mountain as it does not show when watching the racing on the tv. Not cheap, but well worth it. Would like to do it again.

If you like motor racing, V8 Supercars or just like going fast then go and do one of these events. I got to drive a V8 Racecar around Bathurst! John Bowe, the legend came up and was playing with my daughter. Everybody was lovely and it was very professionally run. We are already making plans to go and do it again with a buddy.
