Feel like playing distiller for the day? Head over to Bass and Flinders Distillery - Pioneers of the Gin Masterclass in Australia, for an interactive gin masterclass! Led by one of their botanical advisors, you will learn to concoct your own unique gin recipe by using a vast range of vapour infused botanicals, as you simultaneously learn about the long and fascinating history of the spirit. You'll end up with a tantalising gin mixture that's tailored specifically to your palate to take home. Gin tastings and a cheese platter are also provided during the class to keep you inspired. And the best part is, your gin recipe is kept on file so you can reorder your own gin at any time! What better way to impress family and friends?

Session Length

Bass & Flinders Gin Masterclasses run at the following times. ( class availability not always guaranteed but you will be contacted regarding any availability issues ) Friday at 2:30pm Saturday 11am & 3pm Sunday 11am This experience is two hours in duration.

Participants must be 18 years old or over as this experience involves alcohol; photo ID may be required.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Great experience

We had vouchers to go to a Gin masterclass at Bass & Flinders Distillery in Dromana. The experience was professionally done, we had a very informative insight into the distillery by our friendly host, made our own gin and learnt a lot about the gin making process

Was a great day, enjoyed listening to how gin was made , the history of gin , . Making our own gin and getting to name our own creation, and get to take home a bottle of our own creation. Good that our creation ingredients kept on line for future purchases

It was one of those experiences you simply have to do if you are a gin lover! The whole experience was first class. From the moment you walked in the friendly staff looked after us til the moment we left. The history and origin of gin was nicely presented then the opportunity to make your won gin to take home was brilliant. Could not rate it highly enough!

I had been planning on doing a Gin tasting for sometime while my partner wasnt so sure. So glad I talked him into it. From the time we arrived until we left, the staff were great, even kept our dog some company whilst we were entertained and educated by Jake. This experience has everything you need to know about Gin distilling as well getting to taste and experiment to make your own. Thank you for such a great afternoon.

I got this experience for my 30th birthday and it was so much fun. Erin our instructor was hilarious and very knowledgeable and made the experience so fun. Learning and making gin was heaps of fun.

We had a great day learning about gin and making our own bottles to take home with us. The tasting of the gins that Bass and Flinders make was great as well. The cheese platter was a lovely little bonus too! Would definitely recommend this experience to a friend!
