The Kies Family has been growing grapes in the Barossa Valley since the 1860s, taking pride in the German heritage of the Southern Barossa and this experience warmly invites you to spend time savouring the traditional recipes of the region, paired with their award-winning wines. For a special treat, bring a companion and experience a romantic setting for two at the Kies Family Winery. Sip on your choice of Sparkling Shiraz, Sparkling Rose, or Sparkling Moscato while sampling a selection of traditional German delicacies that are unique to the Barossa Valley. Indulge in classic German favourites such as Bienenstich, German Apple Cake, German Wurst Kransky, and Klauber Block Shiraz Pies, all baked in the age-old Apex Bakery oven, and much more. Relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of live acoustic music under the beautiful festoon lights at the iconic Kies Winery.
