Fantastic Babymoon at Novotel Barossa

We had a fantastic time on our babymoon at Novotel Barossa. Pool was fantastic, king studio room had everything we needed - aircon worked a treat in 35/42 degrees, bathroom products were lovely, bed and pillows were comfy and view was gorgeous. Dinner at The Cellar Kitchen was high quality, delicious and well portioned plus service was wonderful. Really appreciated having someone come and take our order poolside for drinks and food while relaxing. Breakfast was simple but yummy with great coffee. The tasting room on site had delicious local ice cream available - try the salted caramel. Only issues to note were that our room smelled strongly of chlorine when we arrived, but we were able to air this out fairly quickly. And the room service/poolside food quality really needs improvement, fast! Chips were soggy on both occasions we tried, salad had way too much dressing, pizza was soggy.

We had an amazing weekend, with great facilities and food. The staff are friendly and very helpful the breakfast and evening meals are great value for the quality and cost. We would definitely be returning to this establishment.

It was a lovely stay in the Barossa exploring the district then coming back to the Novotel where the comfy, well appointed, modern and super clean. Dinners and breakfasts were great quality and staff were very attentive, we couldn't fault anything & thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were comfortable, neat and clean with an excellent view from our balcony. The dining room was great and the staff throughout the resort were very helpful and very very friendly. Nothing seemed to be too much for them. It was a pleasure to be at the resort.
