25 minute return gondola journey

Board the Arthurs Seat Eagle, a state-of-the-art gondola, for an incredible scenic ride to the highest point of the Mornington Peninsula. As you gently glide over the beautiful State Park, keep an eye out for an abundance of local wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, wedge-tailed eagles and more. This 25 minute journey travels between the Base Station in Dromana to the Summit Station at the top of Arthurs Seat. You may choose to board at either station.

Afterwards, be immersed in a fully edible landscape at local farm and winery, Green Olive. Admire views of the vineyard, the garden kitchen and the ducks on the dam whilst enjoying two grazing platters. Two glasses of estate-grown wine will accompany the meal, finishing off with dessert and your choice of tea or coffee. After lunch, soak up the fresh air and farm atmosphere with a walk around the grounds.

Arthurs Seat Eagle opening hours are 10am - 4pm Sunday through Friday and 10am - 5pm on Saturday (excluding Christmas Day)

Bookings for your lunch at Green Olive at Red Hill are essential
Most dietary requirements can be catered for. Please advise staff of any special requirements
Tickets for the Arthurs Seat Eagle will be collected from Green Olive at Red Hill
Green Olive at Red Hill are dog friendly and ask that all dogs must be well behaved and on a lead at all times
This is a return ticket, valid for 12 months and the return ticket must be used on the same day

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

A very relaxing day

The farm sharing plates at the Green Olive were delicious and plentiful, The setting is also quite pleasant overlooking a small lake. The service was bit slow for drinks at first but probably due to a bus tour arriving just after us. The cable car ride also very relaxing. There is a nice view at the top and some short walks as well. Staff at The Eagle and The Green Olive were very friendly. We had a great day.

We had an outstanding farmer's lunch at Green Olive at Red Hill in glorious surrounds. We shared two big platters of fresh, delicious food straight from the farm/ winery. An unforgettable experience! The Eagle Cable Car Ride was a gentle, exhilarating experience of an 'eagle eyed view' of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Both experiences we highly recommend.

We spent two hours relaxing in front of an amazing view at Olive grove. Our lunch included two grazing platters and a dessert which were all delicious. Partnered with a wine and finished with an iced coffee was perfect on such a warm sunny day. We went across to Authurs seat which was only a 5 minute drive from the restaurant. We enjoyed the Eagle cable car return trip ride. The views across the bay were incredible and the fresh breeze coming through cable car was refreshing, the considering the day was very warm. All in all, it was a great relaxing day out. I would highly recommend doing this through the week when there's less people travelling through peninsula.
