Located on the iconic Great Ocean Road, the Anglesea River is home to an array of waterbirds and marine animals, and the surrounding bushland is the native habitat for echidnas, kangaroos and wallabies. Your lesson begins in the shallows of the river where you will learn the correct stance and position for paddling, advanced strokes and turning. Once you've got these skills down packed, you will enter the deeper waters of the River, playing a few games along the way. In no time, you'll be carving up the water like a seasoned pro. With small group sizes, you're guaranteed to be well looked after and have a fantastic time out on the water.

Spectators are welcome but some groups venture further up the river and spectators may not be able to follow them the whole trip.
Lessons usually go ahead in most weather conditions, even if it is raining. Lessons are only cancelled if there is dangerous conditions like very strong winds or lightening.
