When my daughter gave us a Mystery Picnic voucher as a present, I thought what's this? However we did it last weekend and what a great day we had in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. There was 8 location puzzles and we solved 7. The products we obtained from local artisans were just fantastic and made for a fantastic day out. We also didn’t receive one of our item menus from one of the businesses. We ended up buying more items to add to our picnic. It’s not something we would do again. We were away form home for about 5 hours and were able to leisurely enjoy each other's company along with the variety of places visited as well as our lovely picnic. All the services provided happened in a seamlessly manner and our providers happily encouraged us as we progressed through the day. We even got out of the car at one location and walked around the botanic gardens. The collected ingredients were lovely and quite filling. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the proposed Esplanade picnic location as it rained on our parade. So we went and had it at our daughter's house and enjoyed a snooze on her couch afterwards.
