The tour itself was way better than I expected — the guide was knowledgeable without being boring, and you get access to areas you’d normally never see, like the change rooms and media zones. Even if you’re not a hardcore sports fan, it’s still really interesting hearing the stories and seeing how the stadium operates behind the scenes. Lunch afterwards topped it off nicely. The food was genuinely good (not just “stadium food”), portions were solid, and the view over the stadium made it even better. Everything was well organised and ran smoothly from start to finish. Overall, great value for money and a really fun way to spend a few hours. Would definitely recommend it whether you’re visiting Perth or just want to see Optus Stadium from a different angle. ★★★★★ ★★★★★ Recommended A Must when visiting Perth Kathy and Bruce 19 January 2026 Optus Stadium Tour and Lunch My wife and I recently visited Optus Stadium in Perth and enjoyed an incredible stadium tour. We were shown almost every part of the venue, from the heights of Level 5 to the corporate suites, commentary rooms, coaches’ box, and the players’ change rooms. There was so much to see and take in. Our guide, Rocco, even went at least 10 minutes over time—but no one minded, and we were all disappointed when the tour finally ended. Lunch was included at the City View Café, where we were shown to our reserved table with stunning views across the Swan River to Perth city. Both meals were absolutely delicious—I highly recommend the lasagna. My wife enjoyed an iced latte, while I had a beer. Everything was spot on. A fantastic day all round. We couldn't go onto the oval part as the ground staff were getting ready for The Ashes, which was a bummer. Also, some usual tour areas were off limits due to end-of-year Christmas functions being held. If you want to go for the football experience, try book a time during the footy season for a tour.
